Election 2010

Australian's have voted 2 days ago and we still don't know who will be our next Prime Minister. The election was labelled "too close to call".

Tony Abbott and Julia Gillard are now trying to get the independent MPs to back their party.

This is Australia's first hung parliament in 70 years after Labor couldn't win enough seats to remain in power. Labor were leading the polls and were backed to win the election but lost many seats.

If no agreement can be formed with the independent MPs Australian's might have to vote again in 2 weeks. In the meantime votes from overseas keep coming in.

  1. Do you think Australians should vote again? Would there be a different outcome?
