Australian swimmer Nick D'Arcy's campaign is over, after years of hard work D'Arcy had to swim in his only event of the day, the 200m butterfly. His chances were pretty good in this race but he was up against a strong field of competitors. D'Arcy finished fourth in the heat, not enough to get him through to the next round. His chances of winning a medal has slipped away, he was obviously shattered and will now sit back and cheer his teammates on.
