Hot Stock: DMP (Domino's Pizza Enterprises Ltd)

Hot stocks is a new addition to The Global Times. Every Tuesday investors can get the inside edge on what stocks to buy.

It seems that the mining boom is not the only thing producing jobs, there are plenty of jobs to be had in the pizza sector.

Australia's largest pizza company, Domino's Pizza Enterprises announced yesterday that they are looking for over 1000 new staff members as pressure to perform well has increased. The company says it has more than 1000 new jobs to fill across the nation.

Domino's needs more pizza makers, delivery drivers and part time managers at its 482 stores across the country.

An increased demand for pizza has forced CEO Don Meij to think of new ways to satisfy the needs of hungry Australians. This recent surge in customers is due mostly to new styles of operation. Technology has played a huge part in the company's success story and Meij recognised this.

He says that it is now easier for consumers to order their pizzas by using apps on smartphones and tablets, this has caused the public to be ordering more pizzas than ever before. Meij also said that some stores may be offering up to 10 jobs.

350 jobs are available in Queensland, 300 in NSW, 150 in Victoria, 100 in Western Australia, 50 in South Australia, 21 in the ACT, 20 in Tasmania and 10 in the Northern Territory.

The positions are open now and include part-time, casual and full-time positions.

Domino's spokeswoman Sarah Broad said that the job increase has come on the back of positive results for the business.

Domino's is a great, thriving business and it has plenty of potential for investors looking for both long-term and short-term capital gain.

In February, Domino's reported a 22.96 percent rise in first-half net profit to $12.6 million.

Shares today closed a remarkable 48 cents (5.73%)  higher at $8.85.

Domino's has been through some tough times and has been criticised greatly for its customer service. However, it always seems to find an answer to problems.

DMP is showing all the signs of becoming one of the most popular stocks listed on the ASX 200. There are no signs that the company's growth wont continue to rise, and with technology becoming more and more incredible there should be many successful times for Domino's in the future. I will definitely be adding DMP into my portfolio.
