Dallas Mavericks win game 3 of NBA Western Conference Finals, take 2-1 lead in series

The Dallas Mavericks have won a crucial game away from home against the Oklahoma City Thunder, 93-87. 

Shawn Marion and Dirk Nowitzki both scored 18 points as Dallas hang on to win game three of the best-of-seven NBA Western Conference Finals series.

Dallas’ Jason Kidd finished the game with 13 points and 8 assists in a game where Dallas managed to hold superstar Kevin Durant to just 14 points from 22 shots.

Dallas got off to a flying start and maintained their big lead before the Thunder made a charge in the last quarter. 

However with the help of Dirk Nowitzki who hit clutch jump shots and free throws came away with the six-point win.

The winner of the series will go on to play either the Chicago Bulls or the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals best-of-seven series.
